From a Facebook post, regarding the pictured building: I agree with this pre-war Jewish owner. It was Jankl-Josef Barbanel, who died on November 15, 1942 (rather murdered by the Germans). On the second entry, it was Jankiel. His wife Rachel. The property consisted of a square of approx. approx. 800 square meters. Chana Szapiro's property was located in the south, Jankel-Mordka Skórnik's property in the west. On December 30, 1948, Barbanel's son, i.e. Szmul-Wolf Barbanel, residing in Ziembice in Lower Silesia, and on the other hand, representing GS "Samopomoc Chłopska" in Ostrów: Feliks Go��awski son of Wiktor (president of the board) and Stanisław Korol son of Szymona (deputy president) signed Parczew, a notarial deed and paid PLN 550,000. So the owner was the Communal Cooperative "Samopomoc Chłopska", where there was a bakery, a water bottling plant, etc. In 2013, the owners Jola and Henryk Szkuat planned to renovate the building.
