Appeared in person Szya Geszel Brodt, officiating rabbi of the Głusk synagogal district, together with Lejzor-Sender Rochwerg, bachelor, a grain farmer, 34 years old, born and living in the village of Mętów, son of Józef and Etta née Korenblit, the spouses Rochwerg, and Małka Barbanel, maiden, 26 years old, daughter of Chaim and Chisza née Goldwaser, both alive, the spouses Barbanel, born and living in the village of Mętów, and —in the presence of Szlema Majer Pizem, synagogue sexton, age 44, and Szaja Rochwert, butcher, age 46— he announced to Us that in the presence of himself and the witnesses on this day a religious marital union was concluded between the above mentioned persons, to wit, Lejzor-Sender Rochwerg and Małka Barbanel, and that this wedding was preceded by three announcements [of the banns] in the synagogue of Głusk on 7/28, 13/25 February, and 20 February/4 March of the current year at 11 o'clock in the morning in front the assembled people of Jewish denomination, that no impediments against this marriage have been raised or taken into account, and that no relationship exists between them, and they equally declared that they have not contracted any written prenuptial obligations before getting married. – They also stated that by this marriage they acknowledge the daughter Rajzla, born in February this year and begotten by them during their cohabitation before getting married, as their own child and that therefore she enjoys the status and the rights of a legitimate child.
