This is in the 1848 Census, and thus Jakab is not there. We know that Jakab hailed from Kurima from his children's birth records. There is another Elimelech Friedmann, married to Mecha, originally from Pétervására, Hungary, in the 1848 Census. This family lived in Giraltovce.
