# Żółkiewka liquidation table I — town plot-holders (Плацовники)
**Source.** Archiwum Państwowe w Lublinie, *Zbiór tabel likwidacyjnych lubelskiej i siedleckiej guberni*, **sygn. 1568/I** (nr zespołu 168) — *tabela likwidacyjna* of **miasteczko Żółkiewka**, Krasnostaw uezd/okrug, gmina Żółkiewka. Digitised as unit **2766413** ("Żółkiewka I‑II"), 20 scans.
Catalogue: https://www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl/jednostka/-/jednostka/2766413
**Structure.** "I‑II" = the two internal *parts* of one table, not two settlements:
- **Часть I** — farmsteads (усадьбы) enfranchised under the ukazy of 19 Feb (2 Mar) 1864 & 2 May / 7 Jul 1846. Households **1–45** — Christian peasants (Niziński, Kołodziejczyk, Wilczyński, Obrośliński, Miklinski, Drozd, Gozd, etc.). Scans 4–7.
- **Часть II** — town-dwellers' plots under the ukaz of **28 Oct / 9 Nov 1866**. Sub-section **"Плацовники"** (town plot-holders) = the **Jewish householders**, households **46–66**, scans **7–8**.
- Scans 9–20 are servitude-annotation copies (1882–1903; estate owner Mścisław Markiewicz, Wólka Żółkiewska) — **no name table**.
Cited scans use the exact-page template `…/jednostka/-/jednostka/2766413?p_p_id=Jednostka&_Jednostka_delta=1&_Jednostka_cur={SCAN}`. All Jewish householders are on **scan 8** (hh 48–65) and **scan 7** (hh 46–47).
## Method
Per the standing rule: build the **town cohort** = every vault person tied to Żółkiewka by `born_place`/`died_place` (212 people; walked in Python over `01 People` — ripgrep truncates this ~15k-profile vault), then match **every** householder against that full cohort within era — no surname shortlist. (An earlier framing that filtered to a 10-surname list was corrected: the cohort itself is surname-independent.) Householders are property-holding adults c.1866.

## Matches written (batch 1, user-confirmed) — all cite scan 8
| hh# | entry | vault profile | placement | note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 60 | Sztark Dawid | [[Dawid Sztark (d.1878)]] | Evidence | Żółkiewka Sztark patriarch, d.1878 — clean head-of-household match |
| 52 | Icek Rubin | [[Icek Rubin (b.1842)]] | Evidence | b./d. Żółkiewka; father [[Dawid Rubin (b.1814)]] (d.1871) noted as alt head |
| 55 | Waintraub Maria | [[Marianna Waintraub (b.1825)]] | Evidence | Maria=Marianna; **recorded spelling Wajnrauch** (name-variant) |
| 51 | Hochman Bencjan | [[Beniamin Hochman (b.1811)]] | Evidence | confirmed — recorded given name **Bencjan** is literally his own name (profile aka "Bencyan"); wife [[Gitla Biderman (b.1817)]] Żółkiewka |
| 49 | Faszynk Herszek | [[Hersz Faszynk (b.1773)]] | Evidence **+ OQ** | user: Cyrillic Г=H. **Conflict flagged:** Hersz b.1773 **died 1838** → posthumous/ancestral plot name or same-named descendant |
| 57 | Hochman Jos | [[Josef Leyb Hochman (b.1830)]] | **Open question** | Gorzków line; closest candidate only, unproven |
Evidence crops saved to `08 Attachments/Evidence/Zolkiewka-LT-1568I-hh{49,51,52,55,57,60}-*.png`, one captioned crop per householder (each appears once in the table).
## Screened — no vault match (recorded, not matched)
Householders whose surname is **absent from the Żółkiewka town cohort** (so no tree match): 46 Kleinman Jankiel · 47 Glikman Moszek · 50 Rotman Nuchim · 54 Roch Haskiel · 56 Rozenblat Fajwel · 58 Mendler Josek · 59 Tenenbaum Moszek · 61 Halpern Szywel · 62 Rozenkranc Srul · 63 Kaufmanowa Sura · 64 Mendler Moszek · 65 Gerecht Dona.
(Several of these surnames exist elsewhere in the vault — Kleinman, Rozenblat, Tenenbaum, Halpern, Kaufman, Gerecht — but **none of those individuals is tied to Żółkiewka**, so they are different families.)
- **hh 53 Lejba Cuker** — the **Cukier** family *is* in the Żółkiewka cohort (Daniel & Mendel Cukier lines; e.g. [[Ester Dyna Cukier (b.1842)]], who married the hh 52 holder [[Icek Rubin (b.1842)]]), but **no Lejba/Leyb Cukier** profile exists. No individual match; family-level link noted only.
## Open questions / follow-ups
- **hh 49 Faszynk Herszek** date conflict (d.1838 vs ~1866 table) — flagged on [[Hersz Faszynk (b.1773)]]. Resolve: posthumous plot designation vs. an unrecorded grandson Hersz Faszynk.
- **hh 57 Hochman Jos** — confirm/deny [[Josef Leyb Hochman (b.1830)]] (Gorzków line) vs. an unrecorded Żółkiewka Hochman named Josef.
- **hh 51 Hochman Bencjan** — upgrade from OQ to Evidence if a corroborating record ties Beniamin Hochman b.1811 to a Żółkiewka plot.
- The remaining ~12 non-cohort Jewish families (Kleinman, Glikman, Rotman, Cuker/Lejba, Roch, Rozenblat, Mendler, Tenenbaum, Halpern, Rozenkranc, Kaufman, Gerecht) are Żółkiewka Jews **not currently in the tree** — potential future intake if they intermarry with the Faszynk/Hochman/Sztark/Rubin/Waintraub cluster.
## Remaining Żółkiewka units to process
- **2766412** (Żółkiew / Żółkiewka village, 1867–1903) — not yet pulled.
- (This note covers 2766413 = sygn. 1568/I only.)
