**What this book is.** A property-inscription and **oblata** register (documents submitted for registration into the town books, very many **translated from Hebrew**) before the Łęczna town office, 1779–1810. POLISH, Latin formulae, court-hand; two-column spreads. **121 Jewish mentions across 86 scans**, concentrated in the 1790s–1810 folios (the 1778–79 opening is mostly Christian). It reaches across surname adoption, so the latest entries (1809) carry **fixed surnames** (Erlich, Rubinsztejn, Knaster). Scans 1–2 covers; scan 85 an archival-certification leaf; scan 86 the 1961 microfilm end-card.
**Method.** All 86 scans downloaded and read by vision across 7 parallel readers (~12 scans each). Some readers recorded the file *plikid* instead of the scan number; auto-corrected to the true `cur=` scan via the filename map before compiling. Confidence per person in the xlsx.
## ⭐ Direct ancestor confirmed — Rubin Iłowicz / Jłowicz = [[Rubin Edelsztajn (b.1744)]]
This book **confirms** the identification of "Rubin Iłowicz/Jłowicz" (= Rubin son of Iło/Elo = "Rubin Elowicz") as the vault's [[Rubin Edelsztajn (b.1744)]] — Ozzy's 6× great-grandfather — because the vault's own record list already cited **jednostka 1753836 sc.73** as a Rubin Edelsztajn record, and that record reads:
> "27 June 1801… the **Starozakonny Rubin Jłowicz, Obywatel Łęczyński**, submitted for oblata…" — reporting **his mill (*młyn*)** restored to good order under **Princess Sapieżyna's privilege** (the "Młyn Rubinowy," inspected 1800).

Combined with his book-4 (1773 citizenship) and book-7 (1781 creditor, 1782 butcher, 1787 slaughterhouse) records, this fixes a documented Łęczna career for the direct ancestor **c.1773–1801**: citizen, butcher & town-slaughterhouse holder, and miller — all under Sapieżyna privileges.
