**What this book is.** A Congress-Poland **town-administration + fiscal volume**: annual municipal budgets (*Etaty / Rachunki Kasy Ekonomicznej*), the continuing **pension lawsuit of the dismissed Christian ex-mayor Mikołaj Śmielski**, folwark-corvée (*tłoka/szarwark*) disputes — and, most usefully, the **town-revenue lease contracts** (*dzierżawy*), which name individual Jewish lessees. All 363 scans read (18 readers). This is the **fixed-surname era**, so the Jews here carry surnames. Jews otherwise appear collectively (recruit-tax "od Starozakonnych," Hebrew-signed receipts "po żydowsku").
